1.2. is all about a newer, better tour generator for GOLD and Basic, featuring powerful filtering and route-generation options. This advanced tour generator allows you to easily create amazing trips at any distance. In addition, the shop gets a much needed update on the front-end and back-end.

Milestone overview

Each milestone is composed out of one or more projects. These projects "block" the completion of the milestone until all projects in the milestone have been completed. For transperancy, we've identified three project types:

System Features

System features are upgrades to MRA Routeplanner that have been designed and planned by the development team. 

Community Features

Community Features are upgrades to MRA Routeplanner that have been designed and voted for by the MyRoute-app community.

Internal Infrastructure

Internal Infrastructure upgrades are improvements to invisible systems and processes that increase sustainability and efficiency.  

Roundtour Generator

Creating roundtours is an integral part of any serious routeplanner. The current roundtour generator in MRA Routeplanner is only available to GOLD users. Based on member feedback we're reworking the entire roundtour generator both visually as well as in functionality. The new roundtour generator will be available to both BASIC and GOLD members, with more advanced functionality available for GOLD members.

Shop 2.0.

The current shop and upgrade screens in MRA Routeplanner date back to 2013. The experience that these screens provide has been described by members as being confusing, old-fashioned and slow. To improve clarity, decrease the chance of buying the wrong service and increase organic growth, the shop will get a much needed visual update.

New payment system

Membership is now handled by a static, code-heavy system built as custom software in 2013. Maintenance on this system is very resource-intensive due to it's custom nature. Upgrading the payment system allows the support team to manage membership more flexibily, allows for better payment-handling and paves the way for monthly-invoiced memberships.
